Nestled by a serene river, Berte Bed & Breakfast offers a charming escape in Slöinge, just a short drive from Halmstad. The cozy quadruple room we stayed in had a private entrance, a soothing patio overlooking the garden, and a comfy sofa to relax on after a day of cycling and fishing in the area. The hosts were warm and accommodating, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived late at night. The highlight of our stay was the delightful brunch served in an elegant dining room, complete with pool views. We loved the personal touch of bathrobes provided in our room, along with the option to use bicycles for exploring the picturesque surroundings. The sustainable ethos of the B&B shone through in the attention to detail, from the free toiletries to the free parking and eco-friendly practices.Whether you opt for a guest room or the quaint self-catering cottage, you're sure to appreciate the thoughtful amenities like the tea/coffee maker, washing machine, and fully equipped kitchen. The peaceful garden with its pool and chickens wandering around added to the idyllic ambiance, offering a welcome respite from city life. We left wishing we had extended our stay to fully immerse ourselves in the tranquility of this eco-conscious haven.
